AI Drawing

Add an illustration to an existing design#

AI Drawing makes an illustration from a description—for example, a sun and a few clouds to decorate a weather widget. It adds artwork to the widget you are editing. It does not choose a weather value or connect that artwork to your forecast.

Open a saved widget in Library, tap Design Visually, then use the AI Drawing tool under Add. This feature requires sign-in and Pro. You can edit the result or ask for a change when its drawing controls offer that action.

To find Add, tap the empty canvas outside the widget preview to leave any selection. Add appears in the toolbar below the preview. Once you add a piece, select it to open its own tools.

Create a drawing#

   Open AI Drawing

   Tap Add → Photos & Icons → AI Drawing.

   Describe it

   Say what to draw, along with the colors and style you want. Keep the description to 2,000 characters or fewer.

   Sign in and check Pro

   The tool requires sign-in and Pro. The app offers those steps when needed.

   Tap Create Drawing

   The app shows progress while the request runs. When it succeeds, the drawing is added to the canvas.

Edit the drawing#

Select the drawing to open its Drawing tools. Drawing scenes can contain separate objects. Select an object to move or resize it, or give it its own Looks.

For a drawing stored as an image, the tool can offer Edit as Layers to prepare editable objects. The controls depend on how that drawing is stored.

Ask for a change#

In a drawing scene’s Drawing tool, type what to add or change, then tap Update Drawing. The current drawing is included in that request. Sign-in and Pro are required here too.

If it cannot finish#

Read the error shown by the app and check sign-in or Pro if requested. A generated result can vary from your description. Edit the result or make another request when the tool is available.
